The people who did 300 tried to see if lightning strikes twice and funded a very similar movie. Unfortunately they hired Tarsem Singh who’s more creative than everyone else and he DIDN’T make an action movie. He made a wicked, way-too-smart-for-the-masses religion-mixing Smart Person movie (that still made over 200 mil). I didn’t really love IMMORTALS because I wanted more 300 but… maybe I was just thinking too hard about my old college Religious Symbolism classes while I watched this. Maybe not…?
